During my final year of my Undergraduate, when I had to reform my wardrobe, my obvious choice was pantaloons. The kind of collection it had, always matched with my choices.
Ultratech cement was the choice of my grandfather when he built his dream home. I’ve many fond memories in that home and all of those are indelible.
When is recently moved to Mumbai for my MBA, I was in an urgent need of a formal shirt, a quick google search told me that there was a Planet Fashion store in walking distance of my home. Aditya Birla group never disappoints. Grasim suiting was my first tailored trouser ever and that still remains in my memory.
Mumbai and Vodafone always go together and it was a no-brainer. Even NMIMS Student Council helped us with great Vodafone offers once we landed here.
Part B-How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
I did my engineering from Anna University Trichy. It was my first time away from home and in the first semester it was really hard for me mentally cope up with it. During my second semester, I was diagnosed with a tumour in my lung and oesophagus. This came as a shock to me as I was a vegetarian teetotaller with no habits which would induce a mass growth. This was a really hard time for me as I had to be away from college for a long time. It was nearly 3 months away from classes and college. There was a great risk of me losing out on attendance and being debarred from the institution. I went under the knife twice. Multitudes of tests, X-Rays, and multiple radiation exposures. This actually made me realise what life was actually about and what matters and what didn’t. I was the kind of person who was highly materialistic. This challenge changed my life completely. After getting proper permissions from the institution I wrote the end semester examinations. I travelled to the centre from the hospital and gave the exam. I could clear only four of the six theoretical subjects
The second challenge was when I was at work in Faurecia Automotive Seatings. I was in the production department and was in charge of the Assembly line. During the month of March 2018, my supervisor had to leave for support in another plant and me along with my teammates had the onus to ensure PPH, PPOH, quality, and safety of the plant. We had to bear with machine issues and other quality assurance issues. Still, I acted responsibly and ensured that the end customer line was never affected. I was awarded employee of the month for this.
